About us

We’re a tiny but mighty team of senior technologists and operators, building the product we always wished existed. At Pensero.ai, AI isn’t a bolt-on, it’s the foundation. Every product decision, technical choice, and operational process is designed with AI in mind, which means we build faster, smarter, and very differently from traditional tech companies.

The opportunity

We’re hiring our first Account Executive in Barcelona to help build Pensero’s commercial motion across Europe.

You’ll own deals end-to-end — from first qualified conversation through to closed-won — and work directly with our VP of Sales and Co-Founders to define how we sell to enterprise engineering leaders across multiple European markets.

This is a founding sales role with real ownership. You won’t just run demos and negotiate contracts — you’ll help shape our messaging, ICP, sales process, and pricing strategy as we scale.

You’ll engage with CTOs, CIOs, and VPs of Engineering at enterprise and high-growth tech companies across the UK, Ireland, and wider Europe. Our product speaks for itself — we lead with live data, real insights, and concrete value.

If you want to sell a technically differentiated product, work close to founders, and help build a serious European revenue engine, this role is for you.

We work hybrid: three days in our Barcelona office, two days remote.

What you'll do

Revenue Ownership

  • Owning qualified opportunities from first meeting to close

  • Running discovery calls with CTOs, VPs of Engineering, CIOs, and Heads of Product

  • Leading product demos and value-driven sales conversations

  • Managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles across multiple markets

  • Negotiating commercial terms and closing new business

  • Forecasting and managing pipeline in the CRM

Opportunity Development

  • Working closely with BDRs to convert qualified meetings into strong pipeline

  • Supporting outbound strategy for high-value UK&I and European accounts

  • Multi-threading within larger organisations

  • Helping refine ICPs, messaging, and qualification criteria

Sales Operations

  • Maintaining clean, accurate CRM data

  • Contributing to sales playbooks, deal reviews, and process improvements

  • Testing and improving conversion rates across the funnel

  • Supporting the rollout of new sales tools and workflows

Marketing & Events

  • Leading commercial conversations at major European and UK&I tech events

  • Running pre- and post-event follow-up with prospects

  • Helping amplify Pensero’s brand through company and personal content

You'll love it here if you…

  • 3–7 years of closing experience in a fast-paced SaaS or AI tech environment

  • Experience selling to enterprise or technical buyers across the UK&I or Europe

  • Track record of hitting or exceeding revenue targets

  • Strong discovery, storytelling, and negotiation skills

  • Comfortable leading complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles

  • Fluent English required (additional European languages are a strong bonus)

  • High ownership and self-motivation

  • Data-driven and outcome-focused

  • Curious about engineering, AI, and modern developer tools

  • Ambition to grow into a senior or leadership sales role

  • Hybrid rhythm: Tuesdays & Thursdays on-site in our offices, other days from home. It’s the best of both worlds: deep focus time plus high-value in-person collaboration.

  • Small, senior, sharp: Fewer than 10 engineers, all senior. You’ll work directly with our co-CEOs and skip the bureaucracy.

  • Product-led & feedback-rich: We build fast, make decisions on data and user impact, and give feedback the way we’d want to receive it:  clear, objective, and aimed at making the work better.
