About us
The opportunity
At Pensero, we believe that distribution should be engineered and are looking for someone that can systematically accelerate our growth.
You will be our first Growth Lead to build and scale the GTM engine at Pensero – your single job is to make the number go up. This is not a narrow marketing role. You will have ownership over both inbound and outbound pipeline generation.
This role is for someone who knows how to lead, execute, test, and optimize across the entire pipeline funnel. The ideal candidate brings experience developing multi-channel GTM approaches. Success will be measured by ARR generated and Sales Qualified Pipeline.
This role reports directly to the founder and has the remit of moving fast, testing everything, and doubling down on what works. You’ll shape how we acquire customers, how we tell our story, and how we scale distribution in a competitive market.
What you'll do
Define, drive, and execute the growth strategy
Develop, execute, and iterate upon strategies including automated outbound, website conversion, SEO, paid marketing, affiliates and more.
Scale what’s ready working across current channels, and build repeatable playbooks that drive compounding growth over time
Own Key Business Goals:
Full accountability for Pensero’s direct pipeline generation execution, partnering closely with Sales and Product to drive growth.
Coordinate the resources you need to test and scale distribution and manage the growth team and BDR team
Set the strategy and run Growth Experiments:
Run a disciplined, experimentation-driven growth engine with an analytics and ROI mindset. The goal is to identify the key levers to double down on and to optimize conversion across the funnel to accelerate pipeline generation.
Design, execute, and analyze experiments from hypothesis to conclusion with resilience and rigor.

5–10 years of experience in growth, marketing, and/or sales at early-stage companies.
You’ve been responsible for creating pipeline in prior roles. With meaningful ownership of growth channels and scaled them from 0→1.
Strong ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution. Building scalable systems while staying very hands-on and close to the work.
Obsessive approach to A/B testing to make lead generation thrive. From strategy, tooling, setting up campaigns to testing tactics (e.g. changing copy and creatives) to better convert.
Strong instincts around distribution. You know what to test and when to double down.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills. With a track record of working closely with Sales, Partnerships and Product.

While not required, you’ll stand out if you:
Hold a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or have a deep understanding of how software organizations operate.
Have started your own project or business — we love entrepreneurial spirit and bias for action.
Are fluent in AI and LLM tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, etc.) and use them to work smarter.
Bring familiarity with modern developer tools (GitHub, Jira, Linear, or similar).

Case Assignment – Present your growth strategy and creative execution for a real-world scenario.
Practical Interview (60 min) – You’ll walk us through how you’d approach generating a qualified pipeline and awareness for Pensero and explore how you prioritize experiments and measure impact.
Final Interview – Discuss long-term fit, culture, and ambitions.
